Bestnye!

~ One day you will ask me which is more important? My life or yours? I will say mine and you will walk away not knowing that you are my life.

~ Doubt is a pain too lonely to know that Faith is his twin.

Man, I love this

Life is too short to wake up with regrets,
SO LOVE THE PEOPLE WHO TREAT YOU RIGHT, FORGET ABOUT THE ONE’S WHO DON’T (i'm trying, i'm trying!)
Believe everything happens for a reason (i know, but why's it so hard to remember this when shit happens?!)
If you get a second chance, grab it with both hands... If it changes your life, let it (wht abt the no regrets part? hmm)

Uncle Mat Zaidi~
" Forgiveness is redha "

Arfah Alias~
" Forgiveness is accepting that everything (that has happened or will happen) telah tertulis di Luh Mahfuz (Qada' dan Qadar) and everything (good or bad) pasti ada hikmahnya. Allah SWT Maha Mengetahui "

Allah's Gift

I noticed this posted on the wall of my mum's office (which has been vacant for a long time since someone prefers to stay at home with her grandchildren), hihi.

anyway, the poem goes like this:

Allah knows what's best for us
so why should we complain?
we always want the sunshine
but He knows there must be rain

We always want laughter
and the merriment of cheer
but our hearts will lose their tenderness
if we never shed a tear

Allah tests us often
with sufferings and with sorrow
He tests us not to punish us
but to help us meet tomorrow

For growing trees are strengthened
if they can withstand the storm
and the sharpness of the chisel
gave the marble its grace and form

Allah tests us often
and for every pain [He gives us]
provided we are patient
is followed by rich gain

So whenever we feel
that everything is wrong
it is just Allah's way
to make our spirit strong

unfortunately i can't trace the source of this masterpiece. but i gotta say, he/she did an awesome job!!!

Oh What a Day!

Mornings sekarang ni sooo gloomy, rase malas sgt3 nak gi keje. takde mood nak buat ape, tp i try to always look at the brighter side of things, things that we usually take for granted such as:

*waking up- u're alive! that's something to be thankful for
*being healthy- all of ur five senses are working
*arriving to work safe- all the scary junctions and traffic make me nervous ;p
*ur computer isn't in one of its stubborn/ mental moods
*the internet connection isn't all *&%^$# up

...and those are just a few of the cajillion things that we shud be thankful for.

anyway, i've got this list of quotes that Alhamdulillah helps me get thru situations that have dampened my spirits. they're from a book called "Life is an Open Secret" by Zabrina A. Bakar.
